Eric Lemieux, MBA, Founding President and Partner
Mr. Lemieux was Chief Executive Officer of the International Financial Centre of Montréal and Finance Montréal until the end of his 3 years mandate ending March 31st 2015. His role was to help develop and raise the profile of the financial services industry in Montréal and Québec. Mr. Lemieux—a top-tier executive with an extensive track record as a senior manager in the financial and technologies industry has been delegated by Desjardins group to Finance Montreal and the International Financial Centre to put in place this new organization.
Jacques Topping — M2S Capital
Lise Birikundavyi - M2S Capital
Lise Birikundavyi, MBA, CFA, Senior Analyst
Prior to her role with M2S Capital, Lise has worked as part of the investment team at Sarona Asset Management, a fund of funds investing in emerging markets. She began her career in the operations team of Innocap Investment Management. Ms. Birikundavyi holds an MBA from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) and a trilingual undergraduate degree from HEC Montreal. She speaks fluently French, English and Spanish, and has a conversational level of Mandarin. Ms Birikundavyi is currently completing a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University.
François Morin - M2S Capital
François Morin, Ing., M.Sc., PHD in chemical engineering, Senior Analyst
Mr. Morin holds a PHD in chemical engineering. Since 1988, he has worked in the manufacturing sector for several small, medium and large enterprises. He has held different executive roles with these firms and has been responsible for the operational and financial aspects of the companies, the valuation of potential targets and their strategic development. He was also in charge of several mergers and acquisitions as well as the investments in equipment and infrastructure (during a project management and the construction of a factory).
Jacques Topping, CPA-CA, MBA, ASC, Advisor
Mr.Topping is currently the president of MissionBis, a portfolio management company. He is also the president of Table d'action en Entrepreneuriat for La Capitale Nationale. He was, in 1985, one of the cofounding members of Groupe Informission (Nurun TSX : NUR), a company offering technology services and an interactive technology software. He decided to quit his role as CEO in 2000, after having helped the company achieve 9 Mergers & Acquisitions and a size of over 1,100 employees with an annual turnover of $120M.
Mr.Topping holds an MBA from Laval University specialized in Information Technology.
Marc Lemieux
With a background in high-risk investments, Mr. Lemieux brings deep insight into finance, bridge financing, financial analysis, quantitative modeling, equities trading and mergers and acquisitions. He brings a wealth of creative and strategic, business and financial acumen to the M2S Capital's board. Mr. Lemieux is currently completing a bachelor in Finance at Concordia University and aspires to become a CFA as well as a CPA.
